Social Concerns Ministry uses the available platform for media communication and dissemination of position of the church regarding various social issues, especially those currently of interest. Assess the present social concerns affecting our diocese and discuss on ways that the church could present a position on these issues via visual and audio means of communication.
Activities: Organize workshops and social media meetings to inform the laity on the various encyclicals being drafted by the Vatican to address different social concerns. Engage social media forums to address Social Justice issues in a passive and educated manner. Keep constantly grounded with the current social event and to engage the church leadership on how the Church will respond in order for the country to realize that the Catholic church is engaged and interested in solving societal social problems.
